Activity
This hikoi is our way of honouring the men of the 28 (Māori) Battalion. To those that are living today, and to those that paid the ultimate price.
It is hoped that this trip will deepen our cadets’ understanding of the sacrifices made by the great men of the 28 (Māori) Battalion and that they will take these learnings into their lives to continue fulfil the promise of citizenship laid down by their tūpuna.
